had just completed my internship at Patrick Space force Base and was driving home from Cape Canaveral to St Louis.
drove 9 hours the first day, stayed over in chatanooga, will never stay in that hotel again (it was NOT clean lol), then got up early for the sun rise in the mountains - very pretty
on the way i stopped in Metropolis to see the superman town and then took a detour to Shawnee national park - garden of the gods!
it was craZYYYYY hot that day like 110 heat index i think but i still went ahead and hiked around for a couple hours, vlogged the whole thing for my mom and was drenched with sweat.
it was kinda freeing beeing able to just explore without anyone else with you but it was a little scary at times but i did something dumb and realized that was uhhh... really dumb...
